It isn’t as easy as you might think to find really fine sterling silver dog charms. Oh sure you can find lots if you don’t really care that much about how well they’re made. I have my own standards. For one thing, I like my jewelry to be crafted in the USA. And I like them to actually look like what they’re supposed to be. In other words, a dachshund charm has to look like a dachshund, not a hot dog with legs.

There seems to be a resurgence in sterling silver charm bracelets. I know at least five other women who are collecting them now. One of them has some magnificent sterling silver charms that she has purchased from the same site where I get most of mine. I like this artist’s work because not only do they look the way they’re supposed to, but they have a kind of personality about them. It’s a little hard to explain. All I know is anyone I’ve ever given a Magic Zoo pendant, charm or pair of earrings to has been absolutely thrilled. That’s how I know I’m shopping at the right place!
