A day where we all take a step back and reflect on the one person who probably has shaped our lives the most. Our mothers. Whether our relationship with our mom is good or bad, she still has an unparalleled influence in our lives. It was she who gave birth to us. It was she who generally fed and bathed us, bought our clothes, washed our clothes and maintained the homestead.

It is, in fact a whole lot of work we generally take for granted. This Mother’s Day, let’s take that moment to thank our mother. To show appreciation for all the things she’s done that we never paid any attention to. To let her know that if we didn’t acknowledge all her hard work while we were growing up, we sure do now.

Here’s to you, MOM.
